Built for yards,
not for enterprises.
Plant hire runs on a whiteboard, a phone that never stops, and a filing cabinet of LOLER certificates somebody has to remember to check. It works until the day it does not — the digger that went out to a name nobody verified, the certificate that lapsed three weeks ago, the damage nobody photographed.
The software that exists for this is either a spreadsheet with ambitions or an enterprise system priced for a national fleet, sold on a two-year contract with a consultant attached. There is not much for the yard with forty machines and four staff.
That yard is who this is for.
What we hold ourselves to
Say what it does, not what it might
Our identity checks page has a list of things the product does not do, because an earlier version of this site promised DVLA lookups and credit checks we had not built. A yard that finds out the hard way does not come back.
A roadmap you can hold us to
Quarters, not days. When something slips we move it and write down why. A roadmap nobody trusts is worse than no roadmap.
Your data is yours
Every yard gets its own database, not a row in ours. Ask for a dump of it and you get one, no exit fee and no argument.
We never touch your money
Deposits and hire charges go through your own Stripe account, straight to you. We charge a monthly fee and that is the whole of our interest in your revenue.
We would rather talk to you
We build for yards we can ring up. If you run one and something here is wrong about how the job actually works, we want to hear it — that is more useful to us than another feature request.
